The dog warned of a fire, and then pulled a small child out of the fire!

In early June, a four-apartment building on East Yorkshire Drive Street caught fire in early morning in Stockton, California.

It was Sunday and all the residents of the house were still sleeping, but pit bull sasha from the family, Chaychanda sensed the evil.

According to KTLA, Sasha began restlessly running around the courtyard in which she was sleeping, and hid in the door of her apartment.

She was so noisy that she woke the hostess and when she opened the door for her, burst into the apartment and started running around the woman and barking loudly.

“She behaved completely crazy and it seemed very strange to me,” says Nana Chaychanda, “Then I saw thick black smoke coming from the side of the neighboring apartment.”
The woman ran into the bedroom of her 7-month-old daughter to grab her and run out into the street, but Sasha was ahead of her.

“I did not have time to run into the room, and Sasha was already there and she was dragging my daughter from the bedroom, grabbing her by the diaper! Everything inside me froze, I could not believe my eyes and repeated, “What are you doing?”
When a woman with her daughter and Sasha were on the street, a fire truck was already driving to the house, in the courtyard of which open fire was already visible. Although they were able to quickly localize the fire and put out it, two apartments, including the housing of Nana Chaychandy, burned out very much and are now unsuitable for living.


Now a woman with a daughter and a dog temporarily live with her relatives. In an interview with reporters, Nana said that she was incredibly moved by the heroism of her dog and was grateful for her salvation. She also believes that this act of Sasha will show many people what pit bulls really are and that they are wonderful pets, contrary to stereotypes about this breed.

“I owe everything to Sasha. If she hadn’t woken me, I would still be in bed at the time of the fire and no one knows how this could end. ”

It also turned out that Nana, obeying some sixth sense, it was that night that she left the dog to sleep in the yard, although Sasha usually slept at home and in the yard she was very rarely left at night. This strange accident also played a role, since a fire started in a neighboring apartment and the dog would have noticed it later if it had been in its house.

The causes of the fire are currently being investigated and have not yet been established.
